My bio

Josephine is a leadership practitioner, a senior executive coach and consultant, and an expert in international strategy, leadership development, and leadership transitions.

After university graduation, she started a 15-year international career with Johnson Controls Inc. (JCI Inc.) a global diversified technology leader. During her career at JCI Inc., Josephine had P&L responsibility for numerous global programs with reporting teams and key accounts spread worldwide. In 2007, she joined the Institute for Management Development (IMD business school) in Switzerland where, as a member of IMD’s senior staff, she and her team co-lead executive education partnership developments with C-suite clients. In 2013, she left Europe for a two-year assignment in Australia at the Graduate School of Business, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) to study “Leading and Coaching in Complexity”.

Since 2015, Josephine has worked with Dr. Michael Watkins, author of “The First 90 Days” on Individual and Team Accelerations and with Dr. George Kohlrieser, program director of IMD’s flagship program High Performance Leadership, on Secure Base Leadership, difficult conversations and deep dialogue. She also leads the global coaching practice of Mobius Executive Leadership, a premier coaching, training and leadership development company, comprised of a group of senior thought leaders in fields of human capital such as negotiation, communication, systems thinking and organizational development.

Josephine is multi-lingual, has lived in 6 different countries, and has worked with a large variety of different nationalities, industries, and business contexts. Some of her recent clients include Johnson and Johnson, ABB, Arcelor Mittal, Danone, European Investment Bank, EY, Nike, Novartis, Pictet Wealth and Asset Mngt, PwC, Solvay, United Nations Development Programme, Unicredit and World Wildlife Fund.

Josephine holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering & Mgmt. Science from the University of Technology in Eindhoven (NL). She is certified in the Leadership Circle, IMD High Performance Leadership and IMD Changing Employee Behavior, Leadership and Coaching in Complexity: A System Thinking Approach, EMBA QUT Australia, and is a Genesis Advisers certified coach and facilitator in Acceleration of Individuals and Teams in transitions. In her role as Global Director Coaching Practice at Mobius Executive Leadership she has continued her education at the Next Practice Institute in areas like Somatics, Team Coaching, Transformational Neuro Coaching, Systemic Constellations, Inner Family Systems, and Timeless Wisdom Supervision by Thomas Hübl.

Josephine is fluent in English and Dutch and proficient in French and German.
